Xolo Launches Its Latest Handset Era @ Rs. 4444

With its aim to take on Micromax Canvas Spark, Indian tech firm Xolo has unveiled its latest smartphone named Era at Rs 4444. The pocket-friendly device would be available exclusively through Snapdeal. Meanwhile, the Lava owned firm is all geared up to introduce the much- anticipated Black series of smartphones on Friday. Xolo Era sports a 12.7cm (5-inch) IPS display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. Powered by a 1.2GHz quad core processor, the phone offers 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD. Backed by a 2100mAh battery, the device will be available in black.

The budget phone runs on Android KitKat 4.4 and features an 8MP rear camera along with 2MP front-facing camera. The connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, Micro USB, USB-OTG and GPS along with dual SIM card slots.

While the company has recently announced that the registration for the handset would start in three days, the official Snapdeal link already displays that Xolo Era 8GB has been sold out.
