Lava International sub-brand Xolo has recently introduced a pocket-friendly smartphone named Xolo Prime in India. The device comes with an 11cm (4.5-inch) display with a resolution of 480×854 pixels.
The phone has 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD. Xolo Prime relies on a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. Powered by an 1800mAh battery, it claims to deliver up to 20.8 hours of talk time on 2G networks and 10 hours on 3G, apart from up to 500 hours of standby time on 2G and 400 hours on 3G.
The smartphone’s connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, and GPS/ A-GPS. It sports a 5MP autofocus rear camera with LED and a 0.3MP front-facing camera. Priced at Rs. 5699, the handset is all set to compete with the Micromax Canvas Spark.
