Flipkart is becoming the hub for new phone launches, with the site often leaking upcoming phones before official announcements.
Looks like Xolo is all set to launch a new Intel powered phone, the Xolo X910. The new phone is supposed to be the successor to the Xolo 900 that was launched in April last year. The phone, which is yet to be announced, leaked on Flipkart earlier today with complete specs and product images.
The Xolo X910 will sport a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor with Hyper Threading, featuring a 400MHz GPU. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) similar to the other Xolo devices powered by an Intel Atom processor. It would also have a 4.3-inch (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen display with a pixel density of 256 ppi.
In the imaging arena, the Xolo X910 will only do an average job, sporting a 5MP rear camera with an LED flash and autofocus, along with a VGA front facing camera. In terms of memory, there’s a whole gig of operational RAM, along with 4GB of onboard storage which is expandable to 32GB courtesy a microSD card slot.
Given the specifications, the phone is likely to be priced lower than what the X900 retailed for at launch, especially considering the fact that the phone sports somewhat dated optics and OS. There is no word on when exactly the phone will be announced or made available for sale, but given that Flipkart has already jumped the gun, it shouldn’t be too long.
