Home grown manufacturer Xolo has been repartee its brand new Android-based Hive user interface for quite sometime now with a dedicated Facebook page in particular that’s kept onlookers asking for more, until now! Xolo has now revealed that the much hyped device (or, shall we say the new UI) will be launched on 6 August. The company is busy sending out official invites for the same. Sadly, the invite does not give out the stipulation of the device, but focuses more on the new UI (as expected).
Xolo had recently revealed on its Facebook page that the company’s new Play 8X-1000 smartphone featuring the much hyped Hive UI will be launched sometime in the first week of August. Therefore, the launch date is in line with Xolo’s earlier announcement. Meanwhile, Xolo has teased some quick features of the new UI including a new launcher, themes, media centre, lockscreen and a chameleon widget. Further, the Hive UI will also feature a new forum post called ‘Connect’.
With that said, the new UI won’t be restricted to the 8X-1000, but might as well come to other Xolo devices already available in the market, as reported by Fonearena.
