Video streaming giant YouTube has unveiled a new video editing app called YouTube Create, with the aim of enabling more people to create and share videos.
Currently in beta for Android in select markets, including India, the US, and several European and Asian countries, YouTube Create is designed to simplify video production for both short and longer videos.
It offers features like precision editing, automatic captioning, voiceover, transitions, and access to royalty-free music with beat-matching technology.
YouTube plans to introduce more capabilities and features over time.
The company is also testing an experimental feature called Dream Screen, allowing creators to add AI-generated video or image backgrounds to their Shorts.
