Zebronics has launched its Chromecast like HDMI dongle – ZEB Cast 
100. Priced at Rs 1,699, the dongle will be available across several retailers in India.
ZEB Cast 100 can be used to wirelessly stream the multimedia content playing on the smartphone onto a TV or monitor. It comes with Miracast, AirPlay and DLNA compatibility for wireless streaming.
Zebronics claims that the Cast 100 works with iOS, Android and Windows devices. It’s easy to set up and works by just plugging into the HDMI port. The dongle can be connected to smartphones, tablets and PCs and is powered through a USB port. It has LED indicators that light up to show power and Wi-Fi connectivity status.
“ZEB CAST 100 is compact and easily fits into your pocket or the palm of your hand, thereby eliminating the needs of wires and will,” the company remarked.
On the launch of ZEB Cast 100, Rajesh Doshi, director of Zebronics India said, “We are excited with our latest ZEB Cast100. Google had launched its Chromecast and Chromecast Audio devices in India for Rs 3,399 in April this year. While Chromecast enabled users to stream video content to larger screens like its predecessor, Chromecast Audio let Android smartphone users to stream music to any speaker wirelessly over Wi-Fi.
Earlier this year, Zebronics launched a new gaming chassis called Premier with extensive cooling advantages and expandability. Before that, the company launched a wireless speaker – Juke Bar 2. The Juke Bar 2 comes with a subwoofer for better bass and deeper audio tones.
