Chinese smartphone maker ZTE has launched a new variant of the Blade A2 smartphone in China. Dubbed as the Blade A2S, the smartphone is listed on jd.com at 699 Yuan and will go on sale starting September 8. The ZTE Blade A2S features a 5.2-inch full HD display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution with 423ppi. It is powered by a 1.3Ghz octa-core MediaTek processor coupled with 3GB RAM. There’s 32GB internal storage with microSD card support. The Blade A2S sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, along with a 5MP front-facing snapper for selfies. It packs a 2540mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the device offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, NFC and GPS. The listing doesn’t specify the Android version on which the device runs. Recently, the company also launched a toned-down version of the Z17 smartphone in China. Dubbed as the ZTE Z17 Lite smartphone, the device will be available after September 6 at CNY2,499. The ZTE Z17 Lite features a 5.5-inch full HD display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution with 403ppi, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box operating system and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor coupled with 6GB RAM. There’s 64GB internal storage with no support of external storage. ZTE Z17 Lite sports a dual rear camera (13MP + 13MP) with LED flash, along with a 16MP front-facing snapper for selfies. It packs a 3200mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the deice offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, NFC and GPS.
