The Chinese company, ZTE has launched the Grand XMax phablet on Cricket Wireless in US with the availability date of 10 October. However, there are no details available as of now about the global release of the smartphone. ZTE Grand XMax phablet is available for Rs. 12,000 ($199.99).
To talk about the features, ZTE Grand XMax features 15.24-cm (6-inch) HD display, 8MP autofocus rear camera and 1MP front facing camera. The phablet runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor along with 8GB internal storage space which is further expandable via microSD card and 1GB RAM. The phablet is backed by 3200mAh battery.
On the connectivity front, ZTE Grand XMax involves 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS/ A-GPS options. The company had introduced its ZMax with T-Mobile during an event in New York last month, touting it as to be low-cost large-screen alternative to the iPhone 6 Plus.
