Riding on major businesses with conglomerates like Indian Railways, SAIL, Defence Organisations, Indian Oil, NTPC, Airtel, Vodafone, Tata, etc., ZyXEL’s turnover grew by over 200% Year-on-Year basis. Considerable sales have also been made in the retail sector.
With ZyXEL’s focus on the Indian market, the organization has consistently increased its investment in the country in the last three years and has been strengthening its manpower. In India, ZyXEL is the best GPON and GEPON provider.
“The company in its annual meeting has pledged to again double its business in India to Rs 80 crores in year 2014,” apprised Madhukar Swayambhu, Vice President-Sales. The IP enabled products and service provider has also become a leading player in wired and wireless broadband networking technologies in India. From routers, switches, security appliances, and central office equipment, to wireless and IPTV, ZyXEL ensured exceptional reliability and quality across its product range ever since in the market.
In a second major development, ZyXEL has appointed Sanket Kulkarni as its new Head – Channel Sales. Kulkarni is expected to leverage his 16-year experience to launch ZyXEL‘s channel sales to fresh heights. He possesses a rich experience in the channel sales segment for he has worked with major IT conglomerateslike D-Link, Samsung, Digisol and BenQ.
Madhukar Swayambhu, mentioned, “Sanket’s proven skills would certainly stimulate business growth and profit to new levels.” At ZyXEL, Sanket will be responsible for building up the channel sales in India and across SAARC region, including Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives & Mauritius.
Commenting on his appointment, Kulkarni said “We have been an old team (at D-Link) and would surely repeat the success again in ZyXEL. We shall build up a distribution network across the region, starting from National Distributors (ND) to regional distributors (RD),sub-stockiest and the last mile retail. LFRs and online e-tailers would also be on our radar.” He will operate from Mumbai.
The billion dollar worldwide IT manufacturing company headquartered in Taiwan. It is operational in India since 2006. In the near future, ZyXEL is contemplating to open its own manufacturing unit in India, following which it may go public.
