Considerable sales have also been made in the retail sector.

“The company in its annual meeting has pledged to again double its business in India to Rs 80 crores in year 2014,” apprised Madhukar Swayambhu, Vice President-Sales. In a second major development, ZyXEL has appointed Sanket Kulkarni as its new Head – Channel Sales. Kulkarni is expected to leverage his 16-year experience to launch ZyXEL‘s channel sales to fresh heights. He possesses a rich experience in the channel sales segment for he has worked with major IT conglomerateslike D-Link, Samsung, Digisol and BenQ.
Madhukar Swayambhu, mentioned, “Sanket’s proven skills would certainly stimulate business growth and profit to new levels.” At ZyXEL, Sanket will be responsible for building up the channel sales in India and across SAARC region, including Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives & Mauritius.
Commenting on his appointment, Kulkarni said “We have been an old team (at D-Link) and would surely repeat the success again in ZyXEL. We shall build up a distribution network across the region, starting from National Distributors (ND) to regional distributors (RD),sub-stockiest and the last mile retail. LFRs and online e-tailers would also be on our radar.” He will operate from Mumbai.
