OpenAI, the company responsible for the advanced language model ChatGPT, has introduced six new features in its latest version to enhance user interaction, making AI even more user-friendly. These enhancements, set to be rolled out over the coming week, aim to optimize user experience by providing new features and usability improvements.
To make initiating conversations with ChatGPT more intuitive, the introduction of prompt examples has been implemented. This feature assists users who may find a blank screen daunting, guiding them with sample prompts at the beginning of a chat.
Another addition is “suggested replies,” where ChatGPT enriches dialogues by offering relevant options for continuing the conversation. This allows users to delve deeper into a topic with just a single click, making interactions with the AI model more dynamic.
ChatGPT is also aligning with its latest model, GPT-4, which will be the default for Plus users, with a limit of 50 messages every three hours. Users will no longer revert to GPT-3.5 when starting a new chat, streamlining interactions and saving time.
In the Code Interpreter beta, now available to all Plus users, an interesting capability has been introduced: the ability to upload up to ten files. This opens up new possibilities for in-depth marketing analysis and data extraction.
Login experiences have been enhanced as well. Users will now remain logged in for a longer duration, replacing the previous two-week log-out policy. The new login page is also more user-friendly.
Keyboard shortcuts, such as ⌘ (Ctrl) + Shift + C to copy a code block, have been introduced to expedite work processes. A complete list of shortcuts is available by pressing ⌘ (Ctrl) + /, enhancing productivity and accessibility.
These improvements in ChatGPT’s usability and features can greatly enhance productivity and effectiveness for professionals in SEO, digital marketing, and content generation. These enhancements come after the removal of certain features like the Link Reader plugin and the Browse with Bing feature.
