Speculations say it would be an Android One device, as on the same Google event is also due, to launch Android One.
ITVoice News: A brand new smartphone from Karbonn has been teased officially, to get launched this Monday, 15 September. The caption says, “If you #NoHave the funkiest, coolest, smartest, awesomest smart phone, then get ready to be surprised!”, as per fonearena. The smartphone launch is coinciding with the Google event, which has been long scheduled for 15 September. This event is said to be marking the debut of Android One smartphones.
The video teaser says that the smartphone will be available on online retailer Snapdeal.com from 15 September. The Google event will take place in collaboration with Micromax, Karbonn and Spice. The teaser has been posted on Karbonn’s official Facebook page. It means competition in Indian smartphone market is going to rise high with some more releases very soon, which would be the Android One smartphones.
At the end of the teaser video Karbonn says you need to log into Snapdeal at 3:30 p.m. on 15 September. Android One devices will be launched globally but it would start with India. Though there is no confirmation, if this Karbonn phone will be an Android One or it would run on usual Android KitKat OS only. More updates are awaited on this Monday only, so stay tuned.
