A10 Networks a technology leader in application networking, today announced that it is exhibiting at TechEd North America 2014, May 12 – 15, George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston.
WHAT
A10 Networks is showcasing its threat protection system (TPS) and application delivery controller (ADC) solutions. A demonstration of a large-scale volumetric DDoS attack (powered by IXIA traffic generators), as well as application layer attacks, will illustrate the dangerous nature and threat posed by new, easy-to-use attack tools that are freely available on the Internet. Using Thunder TPS, A10 Networks will demonstrate how to protect networks from these escalating attacks and protect data center servers and networks from service downtime resulting from these difficult-to-detect attacks. For example, slow HTTP POST and HTTP flood application resource attacks seem legitimate, but can easily make web service unavailable by exhausting application resources-which is disastrous to a company’s online services.
Chosen as a finalist for a Best of TechEd 2014 award, the A10 Thunder TPS product line provides high-performance, network-wide protection against DDoS attacks. Best of TechEd 2014 products are evaluated based on strategic importance to the market, competitive advantage, and overall value to customers. A10 Thunder TPS is eligible to win not only the Security category, but also Breakthrough Product and Attendees’ Pick awards. Also showcased at TechEd, the next-generation A10 Thunder ADC product line improves availability, accelerates, and secures data center applications.
