A forthcoming Apple TV app for Android tablets and smartphones is currently being developed. This information was made public after a tip-off user named ShrimpApplePro tweeted about it. He added that this procedure is now undergoing internal beta testing. According to a tip from XDA Developers, Apple is reportedly testing the Android app for video streaming sites internally.

The app is anticipated to come shortly and will likely have a different user interface (UI) than the Apple TV app on other devices. Some smart TVs that run the Android TV operating system already have access to this system.

For those who are unaware, Android TV devices already support Apple TV. Prior to being made available to all Android TV devices, the service had first been introduced in 2020 for the Sony Bravia model. Access to non-Apple devices like Android TV, Fire TV, etc. is also made available.

In addition to this, the Apple TV app provides access to a number of other platforms, such as iOS, tvOS, FireTV, webOS, and much more.

In related news, Apple just added support for the Apple Music Sing function, which is similar to karaoke. Users will be able to sing along with the music, turn down the artist’s volume, and even sing along thanks to this new function It would be preferable if all of this information were to be treated as mere rumours until Apple provided any confirmation. Last year, the Apple TV app for Android TVs was released.
