ITVoice News: Adidas, the German based sportswear giant has joined the smartwear league with its ‘miCoach Smart Run’ smartwach, priced at Rs. 24,999. The smartwatch along with its basic time-support feature, will allow the users to play music and to record various body graphs like heart beat by using its optical technology. Not only this, smartwatch will also allow runners to track their speed, distance and log by using built-in GPS mapping and it even features a MP3 player.
As of now, the smartwatch could be availed exclusively via Adidas website. The device would have 3.68-cm (1.45-inch) colour touch screen display with 420mAh battery backup. Adidas claims that the smartwatch could easily give a back-up of 14 days. It is the most expensive watch launched in the country till date. Adidas already offers a miCoach app on smartphones.
It was originally launched back in 2013. It still remains unknown about what took it so long for the company to launch the smartwatch in India.
