Google is now allowing teenagers aged 13-17 to access Search Generative Experience (SGE) in Search Labs, exclusively in the United States.
This feature enables young users to ask more complex questions and explore topics more deeply using AI-infused search.
Teens can register for Search Labs via the Google app or Chrome desktop, with safety measures in place to prevent exposure to inappropriate or harmful content.
Google is also introducing “About this result” in SGE to provide context for AI-generated responses and is continuously improving its search engine responses to address false or offensive queries.
