AI Logistix company, which is known to offer Green Deliveries through their negative carbon emission fleets, today announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC). LSC has been set up by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) through the National Skill Development Corporation of India (NSDC) and promoted by the Confederation of Indian Industries Institute of Logistics (CII-IL).
One of the major challenges that the logistics industry is facing is the lack of trained workforce. The main motive of this MoU is to bridge that gap. LSC will facilitate AI Logistix in sourcing suitable candidates and overcoming the demand and supply challenges in the logistics sector. AI Logistix, on its part, will keep LSC informed on the vacancies it has on a pan-India basis.

Ravikanth Yamarthy, COO and Officiating CEO of Logistics Sector Skill Council said, ”Logistics Sector Skill Council, an Apex Industry body set up by Ministry of Skill Development and Entreprenuership through NSDC, for setting Standards in skilling in Logistics Qualifications has entered into an MoU with AI Logistix to recruit skilled and certified manpower, engage apprentices, under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme, endorse qualifications prepared by LSC, for approval by regulatory for Skills, which is National Council For Vocational Education and Training. This partnership will be a win-win for both as skilled manpower would address the current problems of the Logistics sector of attrition and higher incident levels.
This MoU will also pave the way for other companies to follow the suite of employing skilled manpower, apprentices and qualified logisticians, under the BBA Logistics program”, he further added.
