Alcatel one touch, a brand of TCL communication has launched its Idol and Hero series of Android smartphones. The two series consist of smartphones in the mid and high range and are targeted at consumers across various age groups.
The Idol series consists of four smartphones named Idol X, Idol Mini, Idol 2 and Idol 2 Mini. The high-end Hero series includes a 6-inch 8020 model. The smartphones are priced in the range Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 30,000.
The Idol series targets the screen segment from 4.3 inch to 5 inch display and is available in 4 GB, 8GB and 16 GB versions
The Hero model comes with a 6-inch HD display at 440 ppi. The phone comes with a 13 MP rear camera and 2 MP front camera and 3400 mAh battery.
