For its planned retail outlets, Apple has various employment openings listed on its official India website. The new job posting confirms the company’s decision, which will lead to the opening of the first formal retail locations in Delhi and Mumbai. For its retail outlets in “different places inside India,” according to the company’s website, Apple is seeking technical specialists, store leaders, specialists, managers, business experts, and creative managers. A job listing for the position of “genius” to address “technical challenges” for clients is also available. While some of these job posts were published in October 2022, the majority of them were published on January 9.
The applicant for the position of “genius” will also “give recommendations on accompanying accessories that will further improve the customer’s experience with Apple products,” according to Apple. For its forthcoming outlets in Mumbai and Delhi, the company is searching for “genius” applicants. The website also emphasises that prospective Apple India retail store employees will need to put in 40 hours a week of work (likely 8 hours for five days). Aside from English, Apple encourages candidates to be native speakers of their native tongue. As can be expected, pay information is not highlighted in the job postings.
