Apple has unveiled new additions to its product lineup during the iPhone 15 launch event. This includes the second-generation AirPods Pro 2nd Gen, which now come with a USB-C charging case featuring MagSafe technology. Additionally, Apple introduced wired EarPods with a USB-C connector.
The second-gen AirPods Pro 2nd Gen boasts a MagSafe Case equipped with a USB-C port, speaker, and a lanyard loop. They are powered by the Apple H2 headphone chip and incorporate the Apple U1 chip in the MagSafe USB-C Charging Case. These AirPods Pro can be controlled through touch and voice commands.
These upgraded AirPods Pro feature Bluetooth 5.3, Adaptive EQ, and two microphones designed for enhanced phone call quality. They support Personalized Spatial Audio, which creates an immersive audio experience. Furthermore, they offer Lossless Audio with ultra-low latency for Apple Vision Pro, thanks to the H2 chip and wireless audio protocol.
Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode enable users to control their audio environment. With Active Noise Cancellation, these AirPods Pro provide up to 6 hours of listening time, with the case offering up to 30 hours of additional listening time. They are also rated IP54 for resistance to dust, sweat, and water.
Key features of the AirPods Pro 2nd Gen include a custom high-excursion Apple driver with a high dynamic range amplifier, dual beamforming microphones, skin-detect sensor, motion-detecting accelerometer, and touch control. The Apple H2 headphone chip and the Apple U1 chip in the MagSafe Charging Case deliver impressive audio capabilities.
These AirPods Pro are sweat and water-resistant with an IPX4 rating. They offer up to 6 hours of playback time and up to 4.5 hours of talk time with features like Spatial Audio and Head Tracking enabled. The MagSafe USB-C Charging Case extends the listening time to up to 30 hours and talk time to up to 24 hours. Just 5 minutes in the case provides approximately 1 hour of listening time or talk time.
The second-generation AirPods Pro with a MagSafe Case (USB-C) are available for order today at a price of Rs. 24,900. They will be officially in stores starting from September 22, 2023. Please note that the case is currently not available for separate purchase.
