After iphone, now Apple India’s two main distributors Ingram Micro and Redington for India, have rolled out a buy back scheme on old Mac laptops. As per the scheme customer can get minimum Rs 20,000 buy back on selling less than four year old working Mac laptops.
The company has started the ‘Upgrade to Mac’ offer on Friday across tech/gadget retail stores in cities in India. Under the scheme the company is taking back the old models of Mac laptops and offering the new MacBook Air, Mac Mini and iMac.
You can return your old Mac that is up to 4 years old and get a benefit (discount) of up to Rs. 40000 under the scheme. For two year old Mac you can get up to Rs. 40000, for two to three year old Mac you can get up to Rs. 30000 and for Mac that are three to four year old you can get up to Rs. 25000 as discount, according to the offer.
In India the MacBook Air 11-inch and 13-inch costs Rs. 67900 and Rs. 74900 respectively. The Mac Mini costs about Rs. 44900. For the iMac the price is Rs. 99900 and Rs. 154900 for 21.5 inch and 27-inch iMacs in 4 processor speed variants.
