Asus has recently launched two new laptop models, namely the Asus Vivobook S series and the Zenbook 14 OLED (UM3406). These laptops feature OLED displays and are powered by the latest AMD and Intel processors.
While the laptops have not undergone testing yet, the inclusion of the new chips is expected to enhance AI capabilities with specialized neural processing units. Additionally, these chips are anticipated to improve power efficiency and enhance performance in activities such as gaming, multitasking, and editing. The keyboards of these laptops also include dedicated Copilot keys for convenient access to Windows 11’s AI tools.
The Vivobook S series consists of three models ranging in size from 14 to 16 inches, all powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 processor. Another 16-inch model in the series is equipped with the AMD Ryzen 8040 Series chip. The 14-inch Vivobook S model features 120Hz OLED panels for smoother scrolling, while the larger models boast 3.2K displays.
In contrast, the Zenbook 14 OLED (UM3406) is equipped solely with the AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor and features a 60Hz panel. While it shares similarities with the Vivobook series, such as USB-C ports, an HDMI 2.1 (TMDS) port, and a 3.5mm audio jack, it lacks a microSD card reader.
All of these laptops support Dolby Atmos sound technology and come with Asus’ ErgoSense keyboards, which feature customizable RGB lighting—an uncommon feature in non-gaming keyboards.
The Vivobook S series starts at $749 and is available at Walmart, while the Zenbook 14 OLED (UM3406) is priced at $999.99 for its base configuration on the Asus store.
