BharatSync has launched new services for the low-end mobile phones that are using BSNL as the network service provider.
The users of email solutions provider, BharatSync, will now get services like protection from unauthorised access to email, SMS backup, call log and call recording, push mail and contact sync on their low-end mobile phones as well.
An IT company, Data Infosys, has developed the services and launched them for BSNL customers with no additional cost here. Ajay Data, CEO of Data Infosys said, “We have developed four facilities – SMS backup, call log, call recording and advanced protection – to email accounts of the user to make the service more user friendly and are available from today,” in a PTI report.
The BharatSync Communicator users will be able to sync their call log and desired call recording, SMSes saved with servers hosted in India, by just updating the application and their email accounts will be secured with a PIN. It will also provide the facility to send FAX from mobile and will add apps resembling WhatsApp-like chat functionality, soon, which will be exclusive for the companies.
Primarily, the application was available only on BlackBerry handsets, and later it supported all major mobile handsets based on Symbian, Android, Windows Mobile and J2ME. These can now be availed even on low-cost handsets.
