Ahmedabad-based Bitscape Infotech, a Microsoft Gold Competency partner, which recently won the Microsoft Worldwide Partner of the Year award, is planning expansion in the neighbouring state of Maharashtra.
The company which opened an office in Mumbai in Q4FY2013-14, will soon open one more in Pune to cater to the customers in Rest of Maharashtra (RoM). Bitscape will target opportunities with Microsoft cloud services among SMBs.
Affirming the development, Kartik Shah, MD & CEO, Bitscape said, “We have a stronghold over the SMB segment in Gujarat, and will continue to target the segment even in Maharashtra where we see tremendous opportunities in the vast SMB segment across verticals. While we will offer on-premise solutions, our larger focus will be on cloud products and services such as Office 365, Microsoft Azure, CRM Online, Windows Intune and Project Online.”
Shah said that the company currently has a total of 150 customers and 3,000 users on cloud which constitutes around 40 percent of its overall revenues. “We are using Microsoft Azure as the data center and use the Microsoft cloud to offer the cloud services. Our cloud business grew 100 percent last year and enabled to clock 25 percent gross profit over the previous fiscal.”
As a part of the expansion plan, Bitscape has created cloud offerings to enable SMBs get started on Microsoft Cloud faster and effectively. “We have developed some SharePoint online templates with workflows specific to the need of small businesses. We help customers to populate those on their Office365 subscription to ensure that the cloud is indeed helping their business. We believe this is a differentiator for us and will ensure steady annuity-based services for us. But our major USP is our 56 resources certified in various Microsoft technologies,” Shah informed.
