Close on the heels of partnering with Flipkart, Dell is now set to partner with Snapdeal and further push its select product range through online channel
In its bid to realize the full potential of e-Commerce in India, global IT major Dell is all set to increase its exposure to e-Commerce websites in India. The company is looking forward to partnering with Snapdeal.com very soon.
Dell product range of Venue, Vostro and Inspiron are already available through Flipkart.com today and this is an extension to its strategy to increase its exposure towards online retailing platforms.
“Very soon we are going to partner with Snapdeal.com. Even though we are partnering with online websites, we always make sure that there is sanity of price points for our products at online retail. We have very strict policies on taking action whenever there is any misconduct at online trading of our products,” explained, Anurag Nanda, Regional Sales Manager, Dell India. He was speaking on the sidelines of the All India ICT Channel Conclave 2014, organized by PCAIT in New Delhi.
With an ever increasing penetration of computing devices such as smartphones, phablets and tablets, India is experiencing a surge in the usage of e-Commerce websites such as Flipkart.com, Snapdeal.com Amazon.in and eBay.in
While there are many e-Commerce websites selling an array of goodies online, there are a number of online discovery websites as well. Even though, online trading of IT goods is just about making its inroads into India, traditional channel partners in the IT trade are feeling the heat of losing their business prospects to online trading portals.
