Indonesia is likely to lead Asia Pacific in IT spending- it is the fourth most populous country in the world with a high potential for a booming digital economy. With a large number of tech unicorns, the government’s local data storage requirements, and a surge in demand for digital services during COVID-19, the country is posed for a massive digital transformation. Interestingly, the Indonesian market generated the second-highest revenue for cloud computing in Southeast Asia in 2020 and is expected to more than triple by 2025.
