Last week Facebook gave its news feed an overhaul and now Facebook Pages is set to be transformed too. The company has announced that it making changes to how it looks for both visitors and admin, saying that it will have a more “streamlined” look.
In the old design the two columns served as the Timeline, while posts were staggered between the left and right column. The new design will see the two columns remain but the right-hand one will now be the Page’s timeline and the left will hold information about the brand.
There are new features for Page admins, who will be able to see data about ads, Likes and post reach in a new metrics section on the right-hand side of the page. Facebook is also releasing “Pages to Watch”, allowing users to create a list of Pages that are similar to their own so they can compare performance and stats like Page Likes etc.
The new Facebook Pages will be rolled out this week and only applies to the web version.
