A new GSMArena report suggests that HTC’s flagship device, the One (M8) smartphone is in the process of receiving a firmware updte that brings about a number of key steadiness fixes to the device. The firmware update is reported to be 70MB (approx) in size and is availableover-the-air. There is however no official word by HTC regarding the same.
The alleged firmware update brings about a number of key improvements: system radio stability, video highlight stability, camera app stability and FM radio app stability. promote the firmware also brings an update to the weather app barometer. GSMArena quotation marks a user from UAE having received his share of the firmware update. HTC’s flagship device the One (M8) smartphone is available in India at a price of Rs 49,900. The HTC One (M8) comes with a 12.7-cm (5-inch) 1080p display and runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor. It further packs 2GB RAM, a 2600 mAh battery and is powered by Android 4.4.2 KitKat with the company’s brand new Sense 6 UI on top.
The smartphone comes with a unique feature of dual-rear cameras with UltraPixel technology. The highlight of the device is its dual rear camera. While the main camera of the M8 is a 4-UltraPixel resolution one, the second rear camera captures deepness information, giving the phone the ability to do relocate images and background detection better. The device also features a 5MP front camera.
