Fujifilm has released its latest addition in it’s long range of instant cameras – Instax. The latest model, Instax Mini 12 is a pocket friendly instant camera that lets users print photos instantly and on the spot.
The Instax 12 is perfect for those who love to take close up shots and selfies. It has a quirky balloon-esque design and comes in five colours – purple, blue, pink, mint and white.
The Instax Mini 12 has an ‘Automatic Exposure’ function that automatically detects the amount of light in the environment when the shutter is clicked and adjusts the shutter and flash level accordingly to provide a more refined on-the-go experience. If you wish to shoot pictures in various settings where the subject and background vary noticeably in terms of bright outdoor lighting and low light circumstances, this is quite beneficial.
The camera also has a ‘Close-up‘ mode that can easily be activated by rotating the lens. The option helps to enhance close-up photos and selfies, as its name suggests. Additionally, it is the first entry-level Instax camera in the line to align the viewfinder’s field of view with the area of the printing itself.
As for taking selfies, the ‘Selfie Mirror’ beside the lens can be used to check the composition of the photo while shooting.
Fujifilm claims that the Instax Mini 12 can print the photo within 5 seconds after the shutter button is pressed and takes almost 90 seconds till the entire image appears on the printed photo.
