Full specifications of the upcoming iQOO Z8 and Z8x have been leaked in a recent report

iQOO is gearing up for a series of smartphone launches this month. The brand is preparing to unveil the iQOO Z7 Pro in India on August 31st, while on the same day in China, its sub-brand Vivo will introduce the iQOO Z8 and iQOO Z8x. Anticipated as promising mid-range offerings, these smartphones are expected to deliver strong performance relative to their price points. As we await their official release, a reliable tipster, Ishan Agarwal, has shared the comprehensive specifications for these upcoming devices.

As per the details provided by Ishan Agarwal on X (formerly Twitter), the iQOO Z8 boasts a 6.64-inch LCD display with a rapid 120Hz refresh rate. Its rear camera setup encompasses a 64MP primary camera featuring image stabilization and a 2MP portrait camera. Additionally, there’s a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Under the hood, the iQOO Z8 houses a Mediatek Dimensity 8200 chipset for swift performance.

Consumers have the choice of configurations offering up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, expandable up to a substantial 1TB through a MicroSD card. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery, which supports remarkably fast 120W charging.

On the other hand, the iQOO Z8x shares many similarities with the aforementioned model. It features the same 6.64-inch 120Hz LCD display and a 2MP portrait camera. However, it employs a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset and offers configurations with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM coupled with 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable to 1TB as well. This variant is equipped with a larger 6,000mAh battery, although it supports a slightly slower 44W charging rate.

Both smartphones come with features like a 3.5mm headphone jack, side fingerprint sensor, NFC, and IR control. They operate on OriginOS 3.0 based on Android 13.
