The Smart Reply suggestions that were displayed in the Voice app for Android and iOS’s bottom of messages have been removed by Google. The article first appeared in February of last year.
According to a 9to5Google report, the function looked at the most recent message received and offered up to three contextual responses. These pills are visible above the text input box, and tapping one of them sends a Smart Reply right away.
“Smart answers are no longer supported,” read the release notes for Google Voice on the Play Store and App Store.
The tech giant has released a standalone version of the Android Accessibility Suite software called “switch access” on the Play Store. Users may control phones or tablets via switches or the front camera, according to the app’s description page. It highlights each item until the user makes a choice after scanning the objects on their screens.
