Google is giving its Android logo a more dynamic and playful makeover, introducing the Bugroid logo along with the Android watermark.
The Bugroid logo is now a complete robot in a rounded and 3D avatar, returning to a full physique after a previous redesign that omitted its body.
This new design draws inspiration from Material design to align with Google’s brand palette and is aimed at seamlessly transitioning between digital and real-life environments.
Google is also making changes to the Android wordmark, capitalizing the “A” and rounding the “n” and “r” for a simpler, globally understandable representation, omitting dessert codenames while retaining them internally.
