Hikvision India has launched its latest 4G Bullet and PT cameras equipped with Two-Way Audio, marking a significant advancement in surveillance technology. These innovative 4G cameras are designed to operate optimally in scenarios where power is available but network cables are not. This flexibility makes them suitable for a variety of deployment situations and ensures they provide real-time, interactive protection through their Two-Way Audio capabilities.
The new cameras deliver 4MP high-resolution image quality, capturing rich, detailed visuals. Their robust design includes water and dust resistance, making them durable for various environments. Additionally, they are equipped with features such as human and vehicle detection, coupled with smart hybrid light technology. The cameras rely on 4G cellular data for transmission, making them particularly well-suited for remote locations and a range of sectors, including BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance), retail, logistics, transportation, education, healthcare, and hospitality.
The Two-Way Audio feature is a notable addition, addressing the growing concerns about security and theft. This function acts as a powerful deterrent against potential intruders. The 4G cameras can broadcast audible warnings and visual alerts to protect properties effectively. For instance, if an intrusion is detected, the camera’s strobe light can flash rapidly while emitting a warning message such as “Warning, this is a restricted area!” Alternatively, the cameras can welcome visitors with a friendly “Welcome!” or any other custom audio message, enhancing both security and customer engagement.
The audio alarm system includes 12 pre-recorded messages and one customizable option. These built-in messages range from sirens and warning alerts to welcoming tones. Users can personalize the customizable message by recording it through the Hik-Connect mobile app or uploading an audio file via the NVR web portal.
The Two-Way Audio feature, also known as Live Guard, operates with Motion Detection 2.0. This smart technology detects both human and vehicle movements in real-time. Depending on the settings, the camera can trigger a single strobe light alarm, an audio alarm, or both simultaneously in response to detected events.
