After the integration of personal computing and printing group, the merged business units, launched their new range of products at a conference on Wednesday. The products catered to both consumers and enterprise class.
The new range includes includes nine PCs ranging from Rs 28,000 to 1.07 lakh, there are six new printers — both household as well as enterprise — priced between Rs 12,000 and Rs 4.46 lakh (with different models).
The PC range can meet employees’ needs for work/ life blend and allow them to stay connected in more places, the company said. The range includes the thinnest, durable EliteBook, two-in-one laptop, two business tablets, a space saving all-in-one PC and a business desktop.
“Businesses and their employees recognise that a true work/ life blend is the new norm and demand technology that fits their personal style while allowing them to be productive and secure,” Rajiv Srivastava, Vice-President and General Manager,(Personal Systems) HP India.
Similarly, in the printers segment, the Officejet Enterprise series are one of the first devices to handle the rigorous printing demands of enterprise businesses and at half the cost per page of colour lasers, the company said.
Some of the printers will be focused around small and medium enterprises, which could allow customers to print through wireless technology (Wi-Fi, cloud and email).
