HTC butterfly 2 is expected to India and other South Asian nations in September. The price for the device is not yet known. The phone has already been made available in Japan as J Butterfly, there it is sold exclusively by carrier KDDI.
The smartphone will start on covering the South Asian markets from 2 October commencing the launch from Taiwan followed by Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
The smartphone supports Android 4.4 KitKat OS with Sense 6 UI and 2.5GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. It sports 12.7-cm (5-inch) display with 1080p full HD resolution, 2GB RAM, 16GB/32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB. It has duo rear camera of 13MP and 2MP with 5MP front shooter. The smartphone weighs 151gms and the dimensions are of 145.4mm × 70.2mm × 9.99mm. The water-resistant HTC Butterfly 2 smartphone will be seen in India very soon.
