Huawei has introduced the MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte edition featuring a 4G Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor

Huawei recently hosted a major event in Barcelona where they introduced a range of new products. Among the highlights were the new Watch Ultimate in gold edition, alongside the Freebuds Pro 3 and Eyewear 2. The company also unveiled the MatePad 11.5 in a unique PaperMatte version, designed to be more eye-friendly. This tablet features an 11.5-inch 2.2K LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset.

The MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte edition offers a nano-etched screen coating that mimics the feel of paper, reduces glare, and minimizes eye strain. It also provides a natural writing experience when used with the second-generation M-Pencil stylus. The tablet boasts an 11.5-inch LCD display with a sharp 2.2K resolution and a variable refresh rate ranging from 60Hz to 120Hz. Despite its sleek 6.85mm thickness, the tablet weighs 499g.

In terms of specifications, the MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte edition is similar to the standard model. It features a 4G Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. Running on HarmonyOS 3.1, the tablet supports various features like Group collaboration, Smart Multi-window, and seamless data sharing through SuperHub.

The tablet is equipped with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera for photography. It houses a substantial 7,700mAh battery and supports 22.5W fast charging via USB-C.

The Huawei MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Edition will be available for purchase starting September 19th, priced at £399.99 ($427). It will be offered exclusively in the Space Grey color option and can be purchased through the official Huawei website.
