Huawei Honor 3C is now officially available at Rs. 14,999 in India. The Chinese handset maker had announced in May that the Honor 3C will be available starting June and the smartphone is now on sale via an online retailer.
Earlier, the Honor 3C was listed for pre-order at an e-commerce website and the early pre-order customers of the smartphone were offered a Rs. 1,500 cashback along with an official Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) IPL cricket team merchandise for free. The offer was however valid only during the pre-order period or to the first 2000 customers, whichever came first.
In May, Huawei expanded its smartphone range in India, introducing three new mid-range devices – the Honor 3C, Ascend G6 and Ascend G750.
While the Honor 3C is now on sale, there is no word on the availability of the Ascend G6 and Ascend G750 smartphones. The company launched the Ascend G750 and Ascend G6 smartphones for Rs. 24,999 and Rs. 16,999 respectively.
The Honor 3C is now available on Flipkart. The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone with dual standby runs the now-dated Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, along with the company’s Emotion UI 2.0 on top. There is no word on the smartphone’s Android KitKat OS update.
The smartphone comes with a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD LTPS display, and offers a pixel density of 312ppi. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582) processor with a Mali 400 GPU, and 2GB of RAM. The Honor 3C comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor, while there is a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera. On the connectivity front, the Honor 3C includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS, and Bluetooth. The smartphone packs a 2300mAh battery, measures 71.4×139.5×9.2mm and weighs 140 grams.
