Huawei has released it’s latest flagship watch – Huawei Watch Ultimate , and it is their most powerful smartwatch till date, giving global giants like Apple, Moto and Dot a run for their money. It is said to be a superior version of the Huawei Watch GT3 Pro.
The smart watch is open for pre-ordering in several countries including the Indian subcontinent. Alongside, Huawei is giving away new offers and early sale discounts. As far as specifications go, the Huawei Watch Ultimate gives a new meaning altogether for rough and tough wearables.
Some prominent features of the Watch Ultimate include
- Customers should keep in mind that the watch is tailor made for divers, with features such as 10ATM water resistance, which equals 100m depth for deep diving.
- Huawei offers 2 separate straps for its users – one, a classic metallic strap with a butterfly clasp for a sleek elegant look, two- a blue strap made of hydrogenated nitrile rubber, which Huawei claims is more durable and gathers less grime.
- The smartwatch has a 1.5” LTPO AMOLED screen that supports a low refresh rate which should improve the battery life. The massive 530 mAh cell that powers the flagship ensures upto 14 days of charge for regular users compared to a minimum of one week for heavy users
- Some of the new features by Huawei include an expedition mode and a heavily detailed diving mode too. An additional 3rd button has also been added for extended functionality.
- Other features such as dual-frequency GPS and a revised night mode watch face, which is mirrored in the Apple Watch Ultra. The Watch Ultimate has been EN13319-certified, which is the standard for diving equipment unlike the Apple alternative, which does not recommend diving beyond 40 metres. Huawei has maintained it’s habit of being ‘one-up’ on Apple with its revised and slightly better features.
The Huawei Watch Ultimate is expected to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Ultra and the Apple Watch Ultra.
The Watch Ultimate is expected to have a starting price of ₹72,290 and will hit Indian markets as early as June 23, 2023.
