iBall, after launching the Andi4 IPS Gem and Andi4 IPS Velvet on Thursday, has now introduced the Andi 4 IPS Tiger. The new budget smartphone from iBall is now listed on the company’s site without pricing and availability details. However, the iBall Andi 4 IPS Tiger is now available online via an e-commerce at Rs. 6,299.
The Andi 4 IPS Tiger offers dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. The new budget Android smartphone from iBall features a 4-inch IPS display with a (WVGA) 480×800 pixel resolution and offers a pixel density of 233ppi. A quad-core (unspecified chipset) Cortex A7 processor powers the Andi 4 IPS Tiger smartphone, clocked at 1.3GHz, along with 512MB of RAM.
The new iBall smartphone sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. The Andi 4 IPS Tiger comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, and can be expanded up to an additional 32GB via microSD card.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE and 3G support. The Andi 4 IPS Tiger is backed by a 1300mAh battery with no word on talk time and standby time.
The iBall Andi 4 IPS Tiger is currently available for purchase via eBay India.
On Thursday, the iBall Andi4 IPS Gem and Andi4 IPS Velvet smartphones were launched at Rs. 5,699 and Rs. 5,199 respectively. Both the dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) and dual standby smartphones run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box.
Notably, the Andi4 IPS Gem and Andi4 IPS Velvet come with quite a few common specifications, with the only difference being the former’s support for 3G connectivity – a strong selling point in this price segment.
