Quality Assurance (“iBeta”), an accredited Biometrics Testing Laboratory under the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP), was awarded a Fingerprint Evaluation Study Contract from Sandia National Laboratories under sponsorship by the Department of Homeland Security; Homeland Security Advanced Research Projects Agency, Resilient Systems Division.
The Biometrics Team at iBeta is very energized to begin a second project with Sandia National Laboratories sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security. This Fingerprint Evaluation Study is being conducted with biometric devices provided by the device manufacturers: 3M, Integrated Biometrics, Lumidigm, and Precise Biometrics. The success of this study requires continued co-operation with those vendors and continued expert guidance from DHS.
