In India, POCO M6 Pro 5G Introduces a Fresh 4GB + 128GB Model

POCO introduced the M6 Pro 5G smartphone in India last month, which is essentially a rebranded version of China’s Redmi Note 12R. Initially, the smartphone came in two RAM and storage options. However, POCO, a subsidiary of Xiaomi, has now unveiled a new configuration for the device, filling the gap between the base and top models.

The latest addition to the POCO M6 Pro 5G lineup features 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. This means that the base model, which was originally launched, now offers twice the storage capacity while retaining the same RAM. The newly launched 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 11,999 and will be available for purchase starting September 14 at 12 noon through Flipkart. ICICI Bank cardholders can enjoy a Rs 1,000 instant discount on their purchase.

In addition to the new variant, the POCO M6 Pro 5G is also available in 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB configurations, priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 12,999, respectively. The smartphone comes in Forest Green and Power Black color options.

In terms of specifications, the POCO M6 Pro 5G boasts a sizable 6.79-inch display with a center-aligned punch-hole cutout, featuring FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric security. On the back, the device houses a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Internally, it is driven by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and an additional 6GB of virtual RAM. The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
