Just a couple of days back, Lava has announced their latest flagship model – the Blaze Pro which is proudly branded as a Made-in-India product. The Blaze Pro is the successor to the Lava Blaze which was launched in July of 2022. The previous phone was targeted towards the low-end market but the Pro variant is expected offer incremental upgrades over the previous model. Lava may hope to rival brands like Realme, Oppo, and Xiaomi that dominate India’s budget smartphone segment.
While the exact specifications of the device haven’t been revealed just yet, the company has announced that the new device will be available in 4 color options namely Green, Blue, White and Orange. Another detail that is known at the moment is that the Blaze Pro will feature an updated camera module that is expected to include a periscope sensor which has featured in the premium flagship phones of companies like Samsung and Huawei. This sensor is known for offering better zooming capabilities.
Fortunately for the enthusiasts, just days before the launch, GSMArena had leaked an alleged picture of the Blaze Pro which featured 50 MP sensor on the back, a 6.5 inch HD+ display with a teardrop shaped notch and a 5000 mAh battery capacity. The leaked specifications point towards a price of close to Rs. 15,000/- in the Indian market and at that price point, Lava’s new flagship is certain to face a lot of heat from the competition.
