Finally, leading telecom provider Airtel has begun offering 5G Plus services in Jammu and Srinagar. Old Customers who own 5G-capable devices can use the high-speed network without paying an additional fee or switching SIM cards in places like Kashmir University, Karan Nagar, Channpora, the Srinagar secretariat, Nishat Garden, and Chashma Shahi, in addition to Raghunath Bazar, Gandhi Nagar, Channi Himmat, Panjthirthi, the Jammu secretariat, the Jammu railway station, the Bahu fort.
Additionally, Airtel claims that it would upgrade its network and eventually make its services accessible in Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh, which are regions under the control of the United States. Airtel 5G will make it possible to watch HD video in high definition, play games, have multiple conversations, instantly upload images, and more.
Mumbai, Delhi, Nagpur, Varanasi, Panipat, Gurugram, Patna, Shimla, Ahmedabad, Vizag, Pune, Guwahati, Imphal, Chennai, Bengaluru, Siliguri, Lucknow, and more cities already have Airtel 5G service. By the end of this year, all of urban India will have access to Airtel’s 5G services, which will be available nationwide by March 2024. Since the current Airtel 4G SIM is 5G compatible, there is no need to switch SIM cards in order to use 5G services.
