Jitendra Gupta, heading the channel business for Juniper Networks for India, has quit the company. The exit of Gupta comes after Ravi Chauhan quit the company as managing director a few months ago.Gupta was associated with Juniper for last two-and-a-half years and was responsible for building and leading the India partner sales organization. Prior to aligning with Juniper Networks in January 2012, Gupta was country manager of Extreme Networks for six years from 2006 to 2012.
“Our policy is to not comment on employee departures. However, we can confirm that Jitendra Gupta has left the company,” said an official from Juniper Networks.
Gupta was also managing pan-India distributors including Ingram Micro, Avnet, Candensworth and others to enable sales besides planning and implementing various channel marketing, channel relationship, and partner enablement initiatives. Gupta is an industry veteran with 20 years of experience across sales and marketing, product management, and channel management in the information technology industry (networking & security domain).
