Meta, the parent company of popular social media platforms, is expanding the keyword search feature on Threads to enhance the search experience for users in countries where English and Spanish are widely spoken.
This feature allows users to search for people by username and also includes posts containing specified keywords, similar to Instagram’s search feature.
This expansion follows testing in Australia and New Zealand, with plans to introduce it in other languages and countries in the future.
Meta aims to improve Threads’ appeal with these updates, as it initially gained attention but faced a decline in popularity compared to other platforms.
