Kinfra’s proposal to bring into being an electronics manufacturing hub in Kochi has recieved in-principle approval from the Department of Electronics & IT Industry.
The project at hand braced with an expenditure of Rs 250 million, aims to create an industrial park having all the modern facilities exclusive for electronics industry. The project from its part is to be developed by means of financial assistance sourced from the Centre under the Electronics Manufacturing Cluster scheme.
Kerala, along with its expansive talent pool consisting of engineering graduates/post-graduates and those holding diploma in electronics, will table an attractive proposition to electronics manufacturing industry.
Kochi stands as the centre of one of the largest exporters in the electronics industry. The completion of the project would help attract investments to the State as well as generate more job opportunities.
