Vivo is reportedly in the process of developing its Vivo X100 series, consisting of several models including the Vivo X100, X100 Pro, and X100 Pro+.
The alleged specifications indicate that the Vivo X100 Pro+ will sport a 6.78-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Although the source did not explicitly state it, the X100 Pro+ is expected to boast a curved-edge display delivering QHD+ resolution. The display is anticipated to integrate an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor for authentication.
Running on Android 14 layered with OriginOS 4.0, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered device is likely to feature LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Given its position as the most high-powered phone in the series, the highest variant could offer a substantial 16 GB or 24 GB of RAM, complemented by 1 TB of storage capacity.
The front-facing camera specifications were not included in the leak. On the rear, the Vivo X100 Pro+ is anticipated to host a primary Sony IMX989 50-megapixel camera with variable aperture. The camera arrangement is further projected to incorporate an IMX598 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, an IMX758 50-megapixel portrait lens, and a 200-megapixel telephoto camera, potentially functioning as a periscope zoom camera.
Earlier leaks had suggested that the X100 Pro+ could feature a bespoke periscope zoom camera developed jointly by Vivo and Samsung. This innovative camera system could be a modified version of Samsung’s HP3 lens, purportedly capable of achieving up to 10x optical zoom.
Details pertaining to the battery and charging speed of the Vivo X100 Pro+ have not yet been unveiled. However, similar to its predecessor, the X100 Pro+ is expected to maintain an IP68-rated design, making it resistant to dust and water.
