Lenovo has now gone ahead and unveiled a new smartphone in the mid-range price category that is expected to take on the likes of the recently launched HTC Desire 816 and Sony Xperia T2 Ultra. The Lenovo S860 is now available for grabs on the company’s official e-store for pre-order at a price of Rs 21,500. The device will go on sale come 3 May.
The S860 Smartphone features a 13.462-cm (5.3-inch) IPS display with 1,280×720 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It sports an 8MP rear camera and a 1.6MP front facing camera. The device runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with a KitKat update expected in the near future. It comes with 16GB of internal storage, but there’s no microSD card slot. The device boasts of a brushed-metal unibody exterior. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0.
