LG, the South Korean smartphone maker, has unveiled the successor of its G Pro smartphone with the LG G Pro 2. The handset boasts 4k Ultra HD video recording capacity for the imaging enthusiasts.
The LG G Pro 2 has a 14.9-cm (5.9inch) IPS Plus LCD display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution. It has Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and will have the LG Optimus user interface. Pro 2 is powered by a quad-core, 2.26 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 mobile chipset, LG further incorporate 3 GB DDR3 RAM in the smartphone. It comes with 16 GB and 32 GB on-board storage options.
The smartphone has a 13 mega pixel camera with LED Flash and comes with new Optical Image Stabilisation Plus (OIS+) feature. The camera can record a full 1080p HD videos at 120 frames per second, that is, 4K Ultra HD videos to play in clear quality, on HD Televisions. LG has placed a 2.1 mega pixel front camera with HD video recording capability. The smartphone has 3200 mAh battery and comes in titan, white and red colours.
The smartphone maker has loaded the phone with Knock Code feature to lock their G Pro 2 device with 86,367 different “Knock” combinations. It can support 4G LTE and HSPA+”>HSPA+ networks where bands may regionally. The phone also has Bluetooth Smart Ready 4.0, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), Near Field Communication chip and Slimport support.
