The LifeBand Touch is a in fact your very own personalised fitness tracker that will essentially keep a tab on your workouts and calories burned and sync it across a plethora of devices through a specialsed LG Fitness app. These devices range from any Android smartphone/tablet to an iPhone/iPad. Further, bluetooth compatibility means the device can also be paired with Bluetooth-supported heart rate monitors as well as LG’s own heart rate headphones. The LifeBand Touch comes with a 3-axis accelerometer and altimeter to track distance, speed, number of steps and the number of calories you have consumed/burnt. Moreover, the device also supports incoming phone calls, notifications and can control music on your smartphone/tablet.
Meanwhile, LG’s much hyped advent into the world of smartwatches courtesy its upcoming Android Wear-powered, G Watch is already making the headlines for quite some time now. However, the company is yet to make any official announcement on the availability and pricing details with respect to the same. The South Korean giant has now reportedly gone ahead and revealed to an online publication called Pocket-Lint that the G Watch will be commercially available by the end of the second quarter of this year.
