MediaTek, a global semiconductor giant that powers nearly 2 billion connected devices annually and the exclusive 5G Partner for India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022, reaffirmed its commitment to the “Design In India” initiative by empowering the Indian ecosystem for 5G enabled advanced technologies on the back of the launch of 5G in India. This launch has certainly opened up new possibilities and opportunities for the industry.
In order to bring out 5G and Wi-Fi router solutions at IMC, the MediaTek established a strategic partnership with Invendis, an Indian ODM, with an emphasis on “Design in India” in line with Aatmanirbhar Bharat scheme. Silbo line of Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6 routers, from Invendis powered by MediaTek chipsets, is an entirely domestic product that supports the government’s campaign for “Vocal for Local” goods.
During the recently concluded IMC 2022, Lava’s “Blaze 5G”, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, was unveiled. This 5G smartphone will allow Indians to access 5G technology and enjoy an immersive smartphone experience.

MediaTek also displayed a range of offerings across the Design in India zone, the Smartphone zone, and the Smart Home zone. In the first zone, with a product lineup spanning companies like Invendis, Relesys, Tessolve, Eldass, Libre, and MoMagic, among others, MediaTek demonstrated its technological strength and the advantages that 5G and other cutting-edge technologies will bring to a variety of industries.
The newest gadgets with MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ and Dimensity 9000 flagship 5G chipsets were located in the second zone. Brands including Asus, Vivo, Redmi, Samsung, Realme, Oppo, Lava, OnePlus, Redmi, Infinix, Motorola, and Poco were among the smartphones on show.
The product lineup for the third zone included indoor and outdoor CPEs, smart TVs, tablets, wearables, smart clocks, routers, Chromebooks, home automation, set-top boxes, and surveillance products from a variety of manufacturers, including Amazon, HP, Sony, Lenovo, Xiaomi, Quectel, Fibocomm, PV Technologies, Realme, Relesys, PayTm, VVDN, Libre, Kent, Byju, Proscend, Zyxel, Arcadyan, FII, Quanta and RuRuTek, among others.
